The kit is made specifically for my motorcycle, so it fits well. The instructions are unclear in some steps, such as removal of stock bar ends and which parts to re-use. However, after referencing the service manual, the installation went well. The covers provide good protection from wind and other elements. I can even use light gloves in the winter!Note: My V-Strom has aftermarket levers, and I found that the clutch-side knuckle cover interferes with the lever adjustment. I have my lever set close and it works well, but be aware of this if you use aftermarket levers.
