Overall I am quite happy with this brake lever. It was hard to determine comparability but after some research I can confirm that these K-type levers are compatable with the Yamaha XT-250/ Serrow 250 control boxes. It is somewhat difficult to find 4-finger levers but these are a quality option. Unfortunately Zeta has very limited colors for their 4-finger levers so you are not able to customize your looks as much as their 3-finger options. There are other options out there for much less expensive control levers, I'm sure Zeta has nicer machining and finish than the less expensive options, but I am not sure it is worth the price premium. Zeta does offer replacement levers in case you somehow damage them in a fall, so you do not have to replace the entire assembly which is a nice feature. Being a pivot lever they do offer that extra protection in case of a fall. Having a reach adjustment is also very welcom since I have smaller hands and the stock levers stuck out farther than I prefer.Installation was quite easy, just unbolt the old lever and bolt on the new one. The action is very smooth and the levers sit securely in the perch. Thankfully unlike by clutch lever this brake lever has no wiggle to it. If it does happen to have it you could try shimming the gap with some brass washers or I have also heard other people using a vise to squeeze the perch to eliminate the gap.Shipping from Japan to the West Coast of the United States was very quick. The levers can in a standard blister pack that protected them in transit and they came to me in perfect condition.
I have been using this product for a long time on my WR250X.
It is a pivot lever, so for MOTARDCourse driving, this eliminates the need for extra hand guards, and eliminates the risk of lever breakage without adding weight.
In addition, the touch is much snappier than the OEM lever or the replacement lever of DRC, etc., so the operability is definitely improved.
After three years of heavy use, the anodized surface was peeling off and the appearance was deteriorating a bit, so I updated it.View Detail
[How is it used? OEMLever is not adjustable and has been replaced Was the one you received as per Image? The texture is great and it has ZETA on the Lever, which is cool! Was the installation difficult? It's easy if you can maintain one. How was your experience with it? It is adjustable and easy to grip. The shape is good and it fits well. [Included Parts:were they on? nothing special [Was there anything that disappointed you? nothing special Other items that would be helpful Installation points and hang/Availability and clarity of the Instruction Manual/Points to consider/Items to purchase/Opinions and requests to the Manufacturer Don't forget to Grease up the Bolt at the base of Lever.View Detail
CPType, Replacement Orange 3 Finger like Set! KTM (Lol)
The problem is that the Clutch side is not good yet Brake side is far even if you squeeze a lot of adjustment.
I think that it is quite painful for people with small hands. ^^; Yamaha's beginnings and Brake are disgusting and far away For people who want to work with Snap and those who are large in hand I think this is fine, but there is room for one thought. (Unfortunately the adjustment works only for those far away)
Finally, 30 'SEROW Complete with OrangeLever Color coordinates is completion! I am satisfied !!View Detail
It uses by Tricker. There is a firm feeling of operation from an original manufacturer's product, and the feeling improved. For me who would like for the width of adjustment to also spread [ I ] and to set up a Front brake lever from a distance for a while, it was very kind.Although simultaneous exchange also of the Clutch lever was carried out, I think that not only a feeling of operation but appearance improved considerably.View Detail
It's almost the same shape. There will be a difference in weight because there is a punching hole, but it is questionable whether there will be a difference in everyday roads because it only suppresses wind pressure at high speeds. But I like the exterior of the aluminum CNC View Detail
My car is Suzuki. It's Hayabusa The finger is a bit far from the genuine brake lever, so there is a risk when breaking, but the multi-stage lever has found stabilityView Detail
The lever has a good finish. It's easy to wrap around your hands and has a good grip. Last product for handle setting under the zeta brand Additional Clutch lever installed in 4 fingers.View Detail
The machining and finish on this lever is excellent. I could not find any imperfections on it. It was rather difficult to determine comparability before I purchased it but I can confirm that the K type lever is compatable with the control boxes on a Yamaha XT250/Serrow 250.Overall I am pleased with the lever. The options for 4-finger levers are more limited than the 3-finger versions. For 4-finger you are limited to only silver from Zeta. This is a little disappointing since you can get their 3-finger levers in other colors for more customization. There are much less expensive options out there but I decided to give these Zetas a try. The feel of them is very nice and the action is smooth, but I am not sure if it is worth 2-3x as much as some of the other alternatives. The fact that Zeta sells replacement levers (the flat bar you grip) in case you bend them in a crash is nice and does help make up for that extra cost.Installation was simple much like replacing any clutch lever, just unbolt the existing one, reseat the clutch cable into the new lever, and bolt on the new one. Unfortunately for me, there was a lot of play in the clutch lever when installed (it wiggled a lot in the perch). In fairness I don't know if this is an issue with this lever or with my existing lever perch. I plan to install some brass washers (don't use plastic) to eliminate the gap between the lever and the perch which should improve the feel.Shipping was fast and the levers came secure in a standard blister packaging. No complaints ok that front.View Detail
Overall this is a fantastic rack. Being a official Yamaha part it fits my 2008 XT250 (Serrow250) perfectly. It has low clearance above the rear fender, enough to get bungee straps under it but low enough to give it a fairly sleek look. Fit and finish are what you would expect for an offical part - the silver color perfectly matches the stock silver highlights on the bike. The tubular steel is very stiff and the rack feels secure and can hold about whatever you want to mount on it.There are less expensive racks out there, but I got this one for a couple reasons.- many aftermarket racks only use 2 of the 4 mounting points which gives a very unstable feeling.- this is the only rack I could find that has some style of built in passenger hand holds. I find this very useful for moving my bike around in my garage. It's not as comfortable as the stock passenger hand holds because it is made of square tubular steel instead of round, but it still gets the job done.Mounting is fairly straightforward, you need to remove the seat, side plastics, and loosen the rear light. It's not the most simple job but it can be done without unplugging any of the light harness. One tip I would suggest is to insert the included hole grommets before you mount the rack. I didn't and it was a major hassle getting them in with the rack on the bike and I wound up ruining one of them. The grommets fit very tightly, putting them in hot water before mounting really helps soften them for inserting.Shipping to the United States was very quick. Packaging was nothing special but it was secure and came here in perfect condition. View Detail
