About quality and texture - Quality as usual with Yamaha is good.About the feeling of use - No issues. The turn Signals are easy to see and there is enough room for the Saddle Bags.Products to buy together - Nothing.Difficulty of installation - Installation is not hard, takes two to three hours. I took my time. You have to access the wireing harness, so the rear fender needs to be removed and then reinstalled. I like the way the rear fender looks on the Bolt and I did not want to use the Fender Eliminator Kit. I am glad this kit was available.Cost performance and comparison with other products - Reasonable.About shipping and packaging - Excellent.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - None.
If you remove the License Plate, you will find a similar part, so it is like replacing it with this one. If you just want to install it, you can use 4 Small Bolts (License PlateQuantity:2pcBracketQuantity:2pc), but I have to disassemble the whole Rear Fender for wiring and Blinker removal. I drilled a hole in the mudguard to get around the Wiring, as there was a good depression next to the Bolt that holds this Bracket in place. You don't need to extend the wiring itself, and you can handle it as it is in NORMAL. (The Blinker's Wiring is pulled from the Coupler in the Wiring compartment behind the Tail Lamp, so there's no need to mess with the Wiring itself.) There is a cutout in the mounting hole so that the Bracket on the base of the Blinker can fit in the wrong direction, so it is easy to fix the Blinker temporarily and check the direction. It's a full normal car, so I don't know how to attach it to an external Fender etc.View Detail
The Blinker no longer interferes with the side bag, making it easier to use
You'll have to work on the Fender inside out, which can be a bit of a challenge if you're on your own
As others have noted in their imprints, the Instruction Manual has little to say about There is no written procedure, so that's my complaint View Detail
For some reason, the direction of Blinker became up 45 degrees diagonally Shield, you need to be careful when dealing with Wiring I'll remove the Tandem seat, but I'll have to temporarily fix the Bolt back in its original position to get the Fender Inner falls offView Detail
Not too bad.It is satisfactory for attachment or the product in particular itself. When attaching by oneself, in order to work Rear fender outside carrying out, it was fairly serious, but the blog etc. were made by referring to it. [ > ]Since only the thing of the grade which removes a Blinker and it attaches to a Stay is written to the > operation manual, it thinks that the point is unkind and reduces one *.View Detail
About DragStar 400 STD, Since the blinker is attached to the sidearm supporting a rear fender as compared with CLASSIC, While it had been pure, the fixing position of the side bag was limited (front slippage), and since the saddle bag interfered in the rear step or obstacles -- a fellow passenger becomes difficult to ride -- occurred, it decided to attach the rear blinker stay made from Y'S GEAR. Although the attachment itself must perform removal of a sidearm etc. for the move of a blinker, if it is for about 1 hour, I will think that work is possible enough. I think that the fellow passenger's degree of comfort also became good since change (it is not also a conspicuous degree) of the appearance by the position changing of a blinker and the attachment to the appropriate position of a side bag were attained as attached comment. However, if it thinks only from processing of a griddle in construction material, since it is somewhat expensive, it is considered as four stars.View Detail
About quality and texture - Quality is good, but the paint will show marks from things being strapped to the Sissy Bar if you are not careful.About the feeling of use - Needed if you are going to take things with you on a long ride, like a knapsack.Products to buy together - You need to also puchase the Backrest Arms to mount the Sissy Bar to. Luggage Rack is optional.Difficulty of installation - Installation is not hard. You can do it alone, but much easier if you have someone to hold the parts while you install the bolts and tighten them down.Cost performance and comparison with other products - More expensive than one from China, but fits better and is the right color. It is also a Yamaha part.About shipping and packaging - Excellent.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - NoneView Detail
About quality and texture - The quality is fine. Paint is good.About the feeling of use - Looks fine with a Sissy Bar attached. Products to buy together - This is needed when installing a Sissy Bar.Difficulty of installation - Installation is not hard. You can install the Sissy Bar without a helper, but it is easier if you do have someone to hold the parts together while the bolts are inserted and tightened.Cost performance and comparison with other products - More expensive than ones made in China, but fit better and are Yamaha parts.About shipping and packaging - Excellent.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - NoneView Detail
About quality and texture - Quality is good. The rack is a little small and the paint marks up easy.About the feeling of use - Works fine, but is small.Products to buy together - Goes with a Sissy Bar.Difficulty of installation - Installation is not hard, but two people are needed when installing this on the Sissy Bar. One person to hold the parts together while the other inserts the bolts and tightens them.Cost performance and comparison with other products - More expensive than ones made in China, but fits better, is the right color and it is a Yamaha part..About shipping and packaging - ExcellentAny concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - NoneView Detail
About quality and texture - Quality is good. Heavy steel. Nice paint, glossy black. Parts line up pefectly for installation.About the feeling of use - Instills confidence in case the bike is dropped.Products to buy together - No other parts needed.Difficulty of installation - Istallation was easy, bolt holes lined up perfect. I did cut some rubber inertube as a cusion for the parts that clamp to the frame down tubes so that the Bolt's frame would not get marred.Cost performance and comparison with other products Equal - Price is reasonable.About shipping and packaging - Excellent.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - None.View Detail
Adds a little class to the motorcycle. Easy to install. You should apply pressure to the top of the cap when tightening the set screw so the alignment does not change. Be careful when first inserting the set screw in the cap so you don't cross thread it. There may be a little paint in the screw theads at the opening. Once started there is no problem. I like the look they add to the bike!View Detail
