Takes around 5 minutes too fit and just adds a little extra security and bracing too the gear select shaft. Highly recommended as bent shafts are difficult too replace.

Craftsmanship is excellent. Aluminum milling is precise, and anodizing is well done. The spacers are also aluminum (anodized black).Installation was easy on a 2014 Grom, but I did have one minor problem with tool clearance. K-Factory used allen bolts instead of regular socket head bolts. On my 2014 Grom, the rearset did not provide enough clearance for my allen socket head (see bottom right picture). I would have needed to remove the rearset, and I did not want to go through that trouble. I had to use a small L-shaped 5mm allen key to tighten the right bolt, which meant I had to estimate the torque by hand. The 2017 Grom (or 2016 MSX125) has a different rearset design, which may provide more clearance. K-Factory should have incorporated regular bolts, which would have eliminated this problem, but this is a minor complaint.Instructions are in Japanese only, but installation is simple and there are a few videos on youtube regarding a similar product, so this was not a problem.Shifting, especially finding neutral, is definitely made more precise with the support. K factory do it again! Machining is top notch, everything fits snug with next to no slop. Installation is easy and only takes a couple of minutes with the provided hardware. No instructions are needed. This simple piece, along with K factory's rearsets, eliminates nearly all of the slop from the Grom's shifting output shaft. Instructions are in Japanese but have very good colour photos, comes with some plastic spacers and little locking rings for the factory grommets. Uses all standard bolts and screws.Installation is a breeze, seat off, duck tail off (4mm hex), seat lock assembly off (10mm bolts) and then the 4 main hex head bolts (5mm) to remove the factory fender. Remembering to unplug the blinkers and the plate light and then wiggle them out the bottom.You do need too split the factory tail to remove the blinkers, only 4 philips screws and it falls apart.Everything installs onto the K-Factory tail tidy with no issues, then spacers on and bang it back together. A little pain as there isn't a way to locate them and its a tight fit.Took 30 minutes, very simple overall.View Detail
